A partly printed, partly manuscript prize leaf of the Athenaeum of Maastricht, removed from the prize book to which it once belonged.

The leaf measures 11×15 cm. The text of the prize (award) is: ‘Athenaeum Mosae-Trajectinum. Ex Scholarum Curatorum decreto, Historiae et Geographicae praemium promeruit ingenuus adolescens Leopoldus Wenmakers ex Stockheim (prov. Limburgensis) e prima schola ad Academiam gradum faciens. Trajecti ad Mosam, 17 Augusti 1842, Praeses Curatorum (name illegible), Actuarius Ed. Capitaine, Rector Studiorum Kerzmann’. (Wenmakers was born in Stockheim, nowadays Stokkem, North of Maastricht)
